Hello traders, any thoughts on the VP candidates debate yesterday?

For me, I was eager for the debate and pleased that it was much more calm than the presidential debates previously.

Also good to see security measures put in place in view of the Covid situation.

The moderator, Susan Page, of course had a much easier time than the previous moderator for the fiery presidential debate!

My favourite quote:

"Senator Harris you're entitled to your opinion, but you're not entitled to your own facts," Pence said, quoting deceased Democratic politician Daniel Patrick Moynihan. 

With less than a month to go until the US nominates it next presidents, my attention is, of course on the currency and the markets.

Goldman Sachs has predicted that the uncertainties over upcoming actions by the Congress, the President and of course, the election outcome could translate into ‘significant losses for equities’.
