The Chinese economy eventually fell into deflation, as per the CPI data has released on 9 August 2023, showed the CPI dropped into 0.3% y/y. It was a very big and bad data development compared with the previous data, people shocked with this data.
The government seems unwilling to do much about the economy recovery, instead choosing slow and steady growth.
The Chinese economy has suffered the deflation, the Chinese and global economic environment continues to be challenging.
We are still waiting for if there is any possibility the authorities will release more detailed to save the dropping economy.
