Mr. Olli Rehn will return to his position as Governor of the Bank of Finland and member of the ECB Governing Council

• He will officially retake his positions from January 31.

Previously, Mr. Rehn took a leave of absence from June last year to participate in the Finnish presidential election. However, he did not pass the first round of voting and is not eligible to participate in next month's election.

Previously, Mr. Rehn was one of the most active members of the ECB, often taking a neutral stance. So, we can expect him to share a lot of noteworthy information and opinions in the coming months.
