Russia stocks higher at close of trade; MOEX Russia Index up 0.16%

Investing.com - Russia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Telecoms, Power and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia Index rose 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia Index were Moskovskiy Kreditnyi Bank PAO (MCX: CBOM ), which rose 3.21% or 0.23 points to trade at 7.33 at the close. Meanwhile, ADS Ozon Holdings PLC ORD SHS (MCX:OZONDR) added 2.91% or 118.00 points to end at 4,178.00 and Mobil'nye Telesistemy PJSC (MCX: MTSS ) was up 2.14% or 4.40 points to 209.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Magnit PJSC (MCX: MGNT ), which fell 1.01% or 36.00 points to trade at 3,527.50 at the close. PhosAgro PJSC (MCX: PHOR ) declined 0.67% or 43.00 points to end at 6,408.00 and Bank VTB PJSC (MCX: VTBR ) was down 0.54% or 0.42 points to 77.77.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 125 to 103 and 19 ended unchanged.
The Russian Volatility Index - RVI, which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, was down 3.15% to 32.57.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.31% or 10.40 to $3,342.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.89% or 0.62 to hit $69.38 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.10% or 0.07 to trade at $71.76 a barrel.
USD/RUB was unchanged 0.00% to 81.10, while EUR/RUB unchanged 0.00% to 92.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 99.84.
