Brazil stocks higher at close of trade; Bovespa up 0.14%

Investing.com - Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Consumption and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Brava Energia SA ( BVMF :BRAV3), which rose 5.74% or 1.10 points to trade at 20.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Hapvida Participacoes e Investimentos ( BVMF :HAPV3) added 4.65% or 1.58 points to end at 35.53 and Pet Center Comercio e Partcipacoes ( BVMF :PETZ3) was up 3.72% or 0.15 points to 4.18 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Companhia Siderurgica Nacional ( BVMF :CSNA3), which fell 2.82% or 0.21 points to trade at 7.24 at the close. Klabin Unt ( BVMF :KLBN11) declined 2.56% or 0.47 points to end at 17.88 and Sendas Distribuidora SA ( BVMF :ASAI3) was down 2.54% or 0.25 points to 9.61.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 523 to 406 and 62 ended unchanged.
Shares in Companhia Siderurgica Nacional ( BVMF :CSNA3) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.82% or 0.21 to 7.24.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 5.07% to 27.36.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.23% or 8.00 to $3,434.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.66% or 1.10 to hit $65.19 a barrel, while the September US coffee C contract rose 3.29% or 9.50 to trade at $298.05 .
USD/BRL was up 0.11% to 5.50, while EUR/BRL rose 0.13% to 6.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 98.57.
