The Australian sharemarket rallied on broad gains at the open on Tuesday with all 11 sectors stronger following the biggest day of corporate earnings so far this month.
The S&P/ASX 200 index added 46.10 points to 8964.10 at 10.12am AEST as industrials and consumer staples recorded the largest gains of the 11 sectors.
