Brazil Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; Bovespa Down 0.18%

Investing - Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Utilities, Real Estate and Consumption sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa declined 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Minerva SA/Brazil, which rose 3.13% or 0.18 points to trade at 5.93 at the close. Meanwhile, Companhia Brasileira De Distribuica added 3.13% or 0.11 points to end at 3.63 and Vibra Energia SA was up 3.11% or 0.67 points to 22.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were MRV Engenharia e Participacoes SA, which fell 3.43% or 0.26 points to trade at 7.33 at the close. Raizen SA Preferred declined 2.86% or 0.03 points to end at 1.02 and YDUQS Participacoes SA was down 2.45% or 0.32 points to 12.73.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 463 to 456 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in Raizen SA Preferred fell to all time lows; falling 2.86% or 0.03 to 1.02.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 0.60% to 25.32.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.65% or 22.27 to $3,439.77 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.22% or 1.44 to hit $63.36 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract fell 1.88% or 7.10 to trade at $370.65.
USD/BRL was up 0.40% to 5.43, while EUR/BRL rose 0.51% to 6.32.
