Norway House Price Growth Rises to 6-Month High

House prices in Norway rose 0.6% month-on-month in August 2025 from 0.2% in the previous month and marking its highest level since February 2025. The average price for a home stood at NOK 4,954,306 at the end of August. Regionally, the strongest price development was recorded in Stavanger (+14.8%), Tromsø (+12.2%), and Kristiansand and Hamar and Stange (+9.6%). It took an average of 49 days to sell a home in August from 63 days in the prior month with Bergen posting the quickest turnaround (18 days), while Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg had the slowest (87 days). On a yearly basis, home prices grew by 5.5%.
