Industrial production in Estonia rose by 0.7% year-on-year in July 2025, easing from an upwardly revised 4.1% increase in the previous month. The slowdown was mainly driven by moderated growth in manufacturing output (3.5% vs 7.2% in June), particularly in fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment (1.9% vs 10.2%) and computer, electronic and optical products (7.6% vs 8%). At the same time, output for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply continued to contract (-29.1% vs -8.9%). Meanwhile, output declined at a softer pace for mining and quarrying (-8.7% vs -33.5%). On a monthly basis, industrial production fell by 5.4% in July from an upwardly revised 1.4% drop in the prior period.
