Producer prices in Croatia rose by 1.2% year-on-year in August 2025, accelerating from a 0.7% advance in the previous month. The increase was mainly driven by rebounds in prices of energy (0.6% vs -1.1% in July) and durable consumer goods (0.2% vs -0.1%). Additionally, producer inflation continued to increase for capital goods (3.1% vs 2.7%) and non-durable goods (1.4% vs 1.4%). Excluding energy, producer prices went up by 1.5%, the same pace as in the prior month. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.2% in August, slowing from a 0.5% gain in the preceding period.
