Producer prices in Lithuania decreased by 1.8% year-on-year in August 2025, following a 2.8% drop in July. The sustained decline was primarily driven by a continued fall in manufacturing costs (-1.7%), particularly in refined petroleum products (-10.9%). Prices also decreased for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (-4.4%). However, this was partially offset by a 4.9% increase in mining and quarrying costs, while prices for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities remained unchanged. On a monthly basis, producer prices fell by 0.5%, reversing a 0.3% increase in July.
