Industrial production in Slovakia fell by 4.6% year-on-year in July 2025, slipping further from a 3.6% drop in the previous month. This was primarily driven by a further decline in all three sub-sectors namely; manufacturing (-2.8% vs -2.3% in June), mining and quarrying (-14.4% vs -1.6%), and electricity gas, and air-conditioning (-17.6% vs -14.8%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity rose 0.9% in July, recovering from a 1.8% drop in the previous month.
