Additional downward pressure came from a notable slowdown in transport inflation (2.7% vs. 4%) and miscellaneous goods and services (5.3% vs. 6.5%), while price growth remained steady for restaurants and hotels (2.5%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.5%, reversing a 0.2% increase in the prior period.
