Producer prices in Kazakhstan rose by 6.7% year-on-year in August 2025, the fastest increase in four months, up from 5.7% in the previous month. The acceleration was mainly driven by faster price growth in manufacturing (12.6% vs 12.1% in July), electricity and gas supply (18.2% vs 17.6%), while the decline in mining and quarrying moderated (-0.3% vs -2%). Conversely, price increases slowed in water and waste management services (11.0% vs 11.8%). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 2.2%, slightly above the 2.1% rise in July. For the January–August period, producer prices were up 7.5% compared with the same period a year earlier.
