The annual inflation rate in Belarus softened to 7.2% in August of 2025, easing from the 17-month high of 7.4% in the previous month. Price growth slowed for groceries (9.9% vs 10.6% in the previous month), enough to offset accelerations in non-food goods (3.2% vs 3%) and services (7.7%) vs 7.6%). From the previous month, consumer prices fell by 0.3%.
