Finland posted a current account surplus of EUR 1,534 million in July 2025, widening sharply from EUR 273 million in the corresponding month of the previous year. This marked the largest surplus since June 2024, primarily driven by a significant increase in the goods account surplus, which rose to EUR 1,991 million from EUR 374 million a year earlier. On the other hand, services account deficit expanded to EUR 699 million from EUR 488 million, as well as the secondary income shortfall to EUR 204 million from EUR 163 million. Additionally, the primary income surplus narrowed to EUR 446 million from EUR 546 million from the same month a year ago.
