The annual inflation rate in Jordan slowed for the second straight month to 1.32% in August 2025, down from July’s 1.68%. This marked the lowest inflation rate since last November, mainly due to a fall in prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, marking the first decline in 10 months (-0.36% vs 1.71% in July). On a monthly basis, consumer prices dropped 0.21% in August, the second monthly decline, following a 0.10% fall in July.
