Singapore’s international visitor arrivals increased 4.5% year-on-year in August 2025, reaching 1.6 million, according to the latest data from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) released on Monday. China remained the city-state’s top source market, contributing over 398,000 visitors during the month. In the first eight months of 2025, foreign tourist arrivals totaled 11.6 million, marking a 2.7% increase from the same period last year. China continued to lead as Singapore’s largest source of tourists with 2.3 million arrivals, followed by Indonesia and India. Previously, the STB said it expects full-year visitor arrivals in 2025 to reach between 17.0 million and 18.5 million, generating approximately SGD 29.0 billion (US$22.6 billion) to SGD 30.5 billion in tourism receipts.
