Kyrgyzstan Industrial Output Growth Hits 5-Month High

Industrial production in Kyrgyzstan climbed by 13.6% year-on-year in August 2025, following an 11.6% growth in the previous month. This marked the strongest expansion in industrial activity since March, mainly driven by higher output in the manufacturing sector (11.7% vs 7.6% in July) and electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (18.1% vs 13.9%). On the other hand, production growth slowed down for mining and quarrying (23.1% vs 40.7%) and water supply (17.7% vs 31%). Considering the first eight months of the year, industrial output was 11.5% higher compared to the same period last year.
