Poland’s corporate sector rose by 7.1% year-on-year to PLN 8,769.08 in August 2025, easing from a 7.6% increase in July and falling short of market expectations of 7.8%. This marked the smallest wage growth since February 2021. Compared to the previous month, the average gross salary fell by 1.5%, mainly due to a smaller scale of additional payments such as awards and bonuses — including annual bonuses, service anniversary awards, and retirement severance pay. On a year-to-date basis, corporate sector wages grew by 8.2%.
