The annual producer inflation in Slovenia slowed to 0.9% in August 2025 from 1.1% in the previous month. This marked the softest growth since February, mainly due to slower increases in costs for manufacturing (1% vs 1.4% in July) and mining and quarrying (8.3% vs 8.5%). On the other hand, prices declined less for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-4% vs -7%), while producer inflation remained unchanged for water supply (at 5.4%). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.2% in August, rebounding from a 0.2% decrease in the preceding period.
