Estonian Producer Prices Fall at Softer Pace

Estonia’s producer prices fell by 1.6% year-on-year in August 2025, easing from a 2.2% drop in the previous month, marking the third consecutive month of deflation. Costs declined at a softer pace for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (-18.27% vs -40.01%). At the same time, prices recovered for mining and quarrying (2.73% vs -0.98%). On the other hand, prices decreased for manufacturing (-0.08% vs 1.12%), while it remained unchanged for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (3.32%). On a monthly basis, producer prices grew 1.6% in August, rebounding from the previous month’s 0.3% fall.
