Palestine’s trade deficit widened to USD 526.2 million in July 2025 from 484.2 million in the same month of the previous year. Imports rose 10% year-on-year to USD 684.1 million, driven by a 11% increase in purchases from other countries, while arrivals advanced 10% from Israel, which accounted for 56% of total imports in July. Meanwhile, exports climbed by 15% to USD 157.9 million, mainly due to a 18% increase in sales to Israel, which made up 94% of total exports. Outbound shipments to other countries also increased by 16%. Considering January to July 2025, the country recorded a trade deficit of USD 3,236.6 million compared to a USD 2,694.5 million a year earlier.
