Investing - Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services and Consumer Staples sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the S&P/BMV IPC gained 0.59% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the S&P/BMV IPC were America Movil SAB de CV M, which rose 3.45% or 0.65 points to trade at 19.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Gentera SAB de CV added 2.62% or 1.29 points to end at 50.62 and Corporacion Inmobiliaria Vesta SAB was up 2.10% or 1.06 points to 51.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Becle SA, which fell 2.17% or 0.45 points to trade at 20.25 at the close. Qualitas Controladora, SAB De CV declined 1.32% or 2.20 points to end at 164.11 and Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. De C.V. was down 1.03% or 0.67 points to 64.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 141 to 121 and 17 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.58% or 21.80 to $3,796.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.20% or 1.37 to hit $63.65 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.06% or 0.04 to trade at $67.82 a barrel.
USD/MXN was unchanged 0.02% to 18.36, while EUR/MXN unchanged 0.00% to 21.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 96.84. (AI)
