Sweden’s business confidence remained at 100 in September 2025, unchanged from an upwardly revised reading in the previous month. This remains the highest reading since February and aligns with the historical average, as sector-level indicator movements were largely minimal. Companies’ assessments of demand conditions remained stable compared to August, though demand continues to be weaker than normal across all sectors except trade. Within the trade sector, dissatisfaction with current sales declined, bringing the net balance for that measure close to its historical norm. Meanwhile, firms continued to report a slight decline in employment over the past three months. Looking ahead, expectations for the workforce over the next three months remain broadly unchanged.
