Lithuania’s annual inflation rate stood at 4.0% in September 2025, unchanged from the previous month. Prices mainly rose at a faster pace for transport (2.9% vs 0.8% in August), recreation and culture (5.8% vs 4.9%), miscellaneous goods and services (3.5% vs 2.8%), communication (3.0% vs 2.4%), and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (8.3% vs 8.2%). In contrast, inflation eased for food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.8% vs 6.0%), education (4.8% vs 6.6%), health (4.6% vs 5.1%), and restaurants and hotels (6.5% vs 6.9%), while it declined for clothing and footwear (-0.7% vs 0.1%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased 0.3% in September, rebounding from a 0.2% drop in the previous month.
