Wall Street stocks tumbled into negative territory Friday after President Donald Trump threatened "massive" tariffs on Chinese imports, reviving a trade war.
Near 1520 GMT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stood at 45,992.72, down 0.8 percent.
The broad-based S&P 500 dropped 1.2 percent to 6,653.22, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index fell 1.9 percent to 22,587.07.
