Brazil Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; Bovespa Down 0.07%

Investing - Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Electric Power and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Embraer SA, which rose 4.89% or 3.85 points to trade at 82.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Raizen SA Preferred added 3.53% or 0.03 points to end at 0.88 and Usinas Siderurgicas de Minas Gerais SA USIMINAS Pref was up 2.88% or 0.13 points to 4.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cogna Educacao SA, which fell 3.97% or 0.12 points to trade at 2.90 at the close. Marfrig Global Foods declined 3.71% or 0.59 points to end at 15.30 and Engie Brasil Energia SA was down 3.49% or 1.45 points to 40.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 505 to 433 and 72 ended unchanged.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 7.56% to 26.67.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.69% or 28.35 to $4,161.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.40% or 0.83 to hit $58.66 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 3.79% or 14.60 to trade at $399.80 .
USD/BRL was up 0.24% to 5.48, while EUR/BRL rose 0.44% to 6.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 98.85. (AI)
