- Fleury SA dropped 4.30%, while Grupo Vamos hit an all-time low, and the CBOE Brazil ETF Volatility Index fell 4.10% to 26.69.
Investing - Brazil stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa gained 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Cogna Educacao SA, which rose 4.78% or 0.15 points to trade at 3.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Companhia Siderurgica Nacional added 4.56% or 0.38 points to end at 8.72 and Natura & Co SA was up 4.53% or 0.37 points to 8.53 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fleury SA, which fell 4.30% or 0.67 points to trade at 14.91 at the close. Prio SA declined 1.97% or 0.71 points to end at 35.41 and Grupo Vamos SA was down 1.69% or 0.05 points to 2.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 523 to 405 and 55 ended unchanged.
Shares in Grupo Vamos SA fell to all time lows; falling 1.69% or 0.05 to 2.90.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 4.10% to 26.69.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 3.79% or 159.79 to $4,373.09 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.26% or 0.15 to hit $57.00 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 1.99% or 7.90 to trade at $405.35.
USD/BRL was down 0.65% to 5.37, while EUR/BRL fell 0.70% to 6.26.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 98.37. (AI)
