The annual inflation rate in Qatar accelerated to 1.15% in September 2025, up from 0.73% in the previous month, marking the highest inflation since August 2024. The acceleration was driven by rises in the prices of miscellaneous goods and services (12.75%), clothing and footwear (2.93%), education (2.47%), recreation and culture (1.53%), food and beverages (1.42%), and communication (0.56%). By contrast, prices fell for restaurants and hotels (-1.48%), transport (-1.12%), furniture and household equipment (-0.35%), housing and utilities (-0.23%), and health (-0.07%), while tobacco prices remained flat. On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.90%, the most in eleven months, following a 0.42% gain in the previous month.
