Brazil Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; Bovespa Down 0.29%

• The Bovespa Index fell 0.29% on Tuesday, weighed down by losses in the Financials, Basic Materials, and Electric Power sectors.
• Grupo Vamos (+6.90%), Embraer (+5.12%, hitting an all-time high), and Raizen (+4.35%) led the gains.
• Brava Energia (-5.84%, hitting an all-time low), Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao (-3.24%), and B3 SA (-2.61%) were the biggest decliners, while market volatility rose 1.42% to 27.07.

Investing - Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Basic Materials and Electric Power sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa lost 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Grupo Vamos SA, which rose 6.90% or 0.20 points to trade at 3.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Embraer SA added 5.12% or 4.17 points to end at 85.66 and Raizen SA Preferred was up 4.35% or 0.04 points to 0.96 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Brava Energia SA, which fell 5.84% or 0.88 points to trade at 14.20 at the close. Companhia Brasileira De Distribuica declined 3.24% or 0.12 points to end at 3.58 and B3 SA Brasil Bolsa Balcao was down 2.61% or 0.33 points to 12.33.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the B3 Stock Exchangeby 473 to 459 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in Brava Energia SA fell to all time lows; losing 5.84% or 0.88 to 14.20. Shares in Embraer SA rose to all time highs; gaining 5.12% or 4.17 to 85.66.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was up 1.42% to 27.07.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 5.11% or 222.79 to $4,136.61 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.96% or 0.55 to hit $57.57 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 2.18% or 8.85 to trade at $414.90.
USD/BRL was up 0.18% to 5.38, while EUR/BRL fell 0.19% to 6.25.
