Producer prices in Moldova rose to 7.1% in September 2025 from 5.4% in the previous month. This marks the highest annual growth in producer prices since September 2023, largely driven by increased costs in manufacturing (4.6% vs 2.7% in August). Meanwhile, price growth slowed for mining and quarrying, easing to 10.4% from 12.0% a month earlier, while it remained steady in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (31.2%). On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 0.1% in September after a 0.2% decline in August.
