Retail sales in Chile increased 6.2% year-on-year in September 2025, the most since March, following a downwardly revised 5.2% gain in August. The largest upward contributions came from sales of new light motor vehicles (26.3%); electronic, household, and technology products (9.3%); and miscellaneous consumer goods (8.6%). Compared to the previous month, retail sales went up 0.8%, after a 0.5% rise in August. So far this year, retail sales in Chile increased 5.2%.
