Georgia’s economic activity expanded by 6.4% year-on-year in September 2025, following a 6.6% growth in the previous month. This sustained growth was largely supported by positive performances across several key sectors, including manufacturing, transportation and storage, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities. In contrast, the construction and energy sector weighed on overall activity, making a negative contribution during the period. Net external demand added downward pressure, with exports rising 7.7% while imports increased faster, by 9.7%. Considering the first nine months of the year, economic activity grew by 7.7% compared to the same period a year earlier.
