Had a great conversation with a fellow trader today, and he said something that hit hard:
“Every trade must have a stop loss. Even if it gets hit, never adjust it.”
It reminded me of one of my worst moments — I had been super disciplined for weeks, then one impulsive move changed everything.
Martingale. No SL. Overleveraged. One big loss wiped out all my profits.
That’s when I realized: it’s not just about knowing how to trade, but being able to **handle yourself** when it matters.
Right now, I’m practicing a “hammer + round number” entry strategy on my WeTrade demo account.
My rule? Never move SL. Just take it, log it, and learn.
I may not have a perfect system yet, but I’m committed to building one – slow, steady, and real.
Let me know if you've had similar experiences. Happy to exchange lessons with fellow traders 🙌#FX# #NewTraders#
